Thank you for joining the team of people who made summer camps possible for students in Malawi!
This year at COTN–Malawi, not only were there several fun camps for children of different ages but there was a leadership camp for students in our University/
Vocational Program. The donations you and other sponsors gave through our Easter card fundraiser earlier this year provided the resources needed for this special
camp.
The camp was held in the Dedza district, a beautiful area of Malawi surrounded by mountains. After this leadership camp, the students then helped lead the summer
camps for the children. We are so proud of their hard work and how they shared their skills and talents with all the younger students!
One hundred students attended the camp.
The camp theme was “Called to Be Servant Leaders.” Students shared their testimonies, spent time in personal prayer, participated in group discussions, and much
more.
Students reached new heights—sometimes, literally.
Students participated in popular camp activities like gathering around a campfire, . . .
. . . joining sack races, . . .
. . . and playing relay games that required teamwork (and a willingness to get a little messy).
