In Haiti, the official languages are French and Creole. But English and Spanish are becoming more and more important for a Haitian child’s education. English and Spanish are included in Haitian students’ final exams before they complete high school, and these languages are very useful for graduates entering the workforce. Unfortunately, schools in Haiti often struggle with teaching these languages, and the children in our program need supplementary lessons.
With your help, we want to introduce English and Spanish lessons to our afterschool program in Haiti.
The 113 children who attend the afterschool program every day will learn English and Spanish, and they will eventually become fluent! These children will be equipped to succeed in school and have key skills for finding jobs in fields like technology, business, and translation.
Will you equip children in Haiti with valuable language skills by investing in English and Spanish lessons?
