When you ask our children “What do you want to be when you grow up?” many of them will tell you they want to be a doctor or nurse or engineer or farmer.
To help our children reach that goal, we need to give them a strong science foundation in secondary school. That is where this project comes in.
Last year we were blessed with funds to purchase several pieces of science lab equipment to help our students understand science in a more hands-on way. This year, we want to add on to our lab.
At the end of Secondary 4 Class (11th grade), our students are required to take a national exam. This exam includes a practical portion for each science subject (chemistry, biology, physics, and agriculture). To pass the science exams, students need to be able to conduct an experiment accurately. To help our students with this task, we need to give them the opportunity to practice before they take the national exam. That is why this project is so important to our children.
Thank you for providing this valuable resource and preparing the children for their future!
