Marathon Event to Package Over 120,000 Meals United States

Seattle, WA – April 23, 2010 – Upwards of 1,000 local volunteers will gather on May 15 to package food for orphaned and destitute children through Children of the Nations (COTN), a local non-profit organization. COTN will be hosting the annual “Seattle Meal Marathon” on Saturday, May 15 at Mill Creek Foursquare Church from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

"Run For Africa 5K" to Benefit Local Children's Charity United States

Race day is Saturday, July 11, 2009 and will begin at 7:30am followed by a kids run at 8:30 am. Registration is $25 per entrant.

Team from Real Life Church Departs on Humanitarian Mission to Uganda United States

Valencia, CA – June 1, 2009 – A short-term mission team from Real Life Church (RLC) in Valencia, California departed today for Uganda in northern Africa. Serving with the non-profit organization, Children of the Nations (COTN), the team of ten led by Brandon Beard, Life Groups Pastor at Real Life Church, will be participating in the construction of the organization’s Uganda Children's Village, a complex to include residential children’s homes, school facilities, a main hall and library and more.

Barnes and Noble to Partner with Children of the Nations United States

The bookseller will be hosting Children of the Nations’ national book fair May 11 – 16 to raise funds for the Global Book Club, a new program of COTN. Through the Global Book Club, whose vision is "Every Child – One Book" COTN is raising money to buy books and build libraries for children in Africa and the Dominican Republic.
