Children of the Nations Earns Spot Among Top Two Percent of America's Charities United States

Silverdale, WA – April 27, 2011 – Children of the Nations, a nonprofit organization based in Silverdale, WA, was recently recognized as one of America’s most fiscally responsible charities by Charity Navigator, the country’s premier charity evaluator. Earlier this month, Children of the Nations received the exciting news that for the seventh year in a row it had earned Charity Navigator’s top honor—a 4-star rating—for its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances.

COTN Receives Global Humanitarian Award United States

Bremerton, WA – May 13, 2010 – Silverdale-based Children of the Nations (COTN) will be honored at the upcoming 2010 RESULTS Benefit Luncheon on Sunday, May 23 at the Kitsap Conference Center in downtown Bremerton. COTN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising children who transform nations. The organization currently serves in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda and the Dominican Republic providing holistic care to orphaned and destitute children.

Marathon Event to Package Over 100,000 Meals United States

Silverdale, WA – April 30, 2010 – Upwards of 1,200 local volunteers will gather on May 22, to package food for orphaned and destitute children through Children of the Nations (COTN), a local non-profit organization. COTN will be hosting the annual “Silverdale Meal Marathon” on Saturday, May 22, at Silverdale United Methodist Church from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

"Run For Africa 5K" to Benefit Local Children's Charity United States

Orlando, Florida – June 4, 2009 – Children of the Nations (COTN), a non-profit organization impacting the lives of tens of thousands of in the developing world, will be hosting its first 5K marathon, “Run for Africa 5K,” to benefit the children in their care. Race day is Saturday, July 11, 2009 and will begin at 7:30am followed by a kids run at 8:30 am. Registration is $25 per entrant.

Team from Real Life Church Departs on Humanitarian Mission to Uganda United States

Valencia, CA – June 1, 2009 – A short-term mission team from Real Life Church (RLC) in Valencia, California departed today for Uganda in northern Africa. Serving with the non-profit organization, Children of the Nations (COTN), the team of ten led by Brandon Beard, Life Groups Pastor at Real Life Church, will be participating in the construction of the organization’s Uganda Children's Village, a complex to include residential children’s homes, school facilities, a main hall and library and more.
