Children of the Nations Earns Spot Among Top Two Percent of America’s Charities

Silverdale, WA – April 27, 2011 – Children of the Nations, a nonprofit organization based in Silverdale, WA, was recently recognized as one of America’s most fiscally responsible charities by Charity Navigator, the country’s premier charity evaluator. Earlier this month, Children of the Nations received the exciting news that for the seventh year in a row it had earned Charity Navigator’s top honor—a 4-star rating—for its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances.

In a letter to Children of the Nations, Charity Navigator President and CEO Ken Berger wrote, “Only 2% of the charities we rate have received at least 7 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Children of the Nations consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America. This ‘exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Children of the Nations from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”
