COTN Receives Global Humanitarian Award

    Bremerton, WA – May 13, 2010 – Silverdale-based Children of the Nations (COTN) will be honored at the upcoming 2010 RESULTS Benefit Luncheon on Sunday, May 23 at the Kitsap Conference Center in downtown Bremerton. COTN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising children who transform nations. The organization currently serves in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda and the Dominican Republic providing holistic care to orphaned and destitute children.

    Debbie Clark, COTN co-founder, will accept the 2010 Kitsap Peninsula Global Humanitarian Award presented by the Kitsap Peninsula RESULTS volunteer organization. RESULTS ( is a national grassroots citizen lobby group that is part of the effort to end hunger and poverty both in the USA and the world. Rich Brenner, RESULTS Bremerton volunteer, sited COTN’s tremendous relief efforts in Haiti plus their ongoing work in Africa and the Caribbean as the reasons for the award.
