Writing a letter to a child you don't know can be hard.  But it's also the best way to get to know your child, and to give them the incredible gift of  knowing who you are.

Here are five things your sponsored child wants to know about YOU:

1. Who is in your family? I remember telling my sponsored child about my nieces, and I was so surprised when, years later, she asked me how they were dong! Family is a very important cultural value in the countries we serve, so learning about your family will be meaningful to your child. Include photos if you have them!
2. What do you do for fun?
3. What is your favorite Bible story or verse, and why?
4. How can your sponsored child pray for you? Most children pray for their sponsors on a regular basis. Let them know some specific things they can pray for!
5. How are you praying for your sponsored child? Tell your child the things you are hoping for or praying for in his or her life.

Five questions you can ask your sponsored child:

1. Who is your best friend?
2. What is your favorite subject in school?
3. What is your favorite thing about being in COTN?
4. What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?
5. What would you like prayer for?
