Thank You from the Dominican Republic!
01/06/14
Christmas in the Dominican culture is very special and important. This Christmas, thanks to you and other sponsors, children in COTN’s Village Partnership Programs were able to enjoy games and songs, and eat a special meal, which they don’t usually have in their homes because of the poverty in which they live.
It is a Dominican tradition at Christmastime to enjoy a special dinner consisting of Christmas candies and fruits, nuts, baked chicken or pork, and other foods characteristic of the season. The children in our communities had this meal thanks to the support of their sponsors.
Thank you for giving joy this Christmas season!

The children enjoyed a tasty Christmas meal with some traditional foods, thanks to you!

It was a time to fellowship with friends.

And to enjoy some refreshing Christmas drinks.

It's not eggnog, but it'll do!

Enjoying the Christmas feast at I Love Baseball.

And finally, it was a time to share songs and games.

Thank you so much for the Christmas celebrations!
