Thanks to you, COTN children across the globe have been able to have Christmas parties this year. Today, we
are excited to share photos from Christmas celebrations at COTN–Uganda.
The theme of this year’s celebration was "The Prince of Peace," based on Isaiah 9:6: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the
government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince
of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6 ESV).
Children were reminded that they can only find peace in Jesus Christ. And that peace comes from receiving and allowing Jesus Christ to abide in
our hearts every day.
New clothes were a big part of Christmas celebrations.
Children enjoyed a time of singing, dancing, serving each other, playing games, and listening to a Bible lesson. During this time,
children also shared testimonies with each other about how God has been generous to them during the year.
They received new clothes, and some did a bit of modeling to show off!
After eating a wonderful meal, the children spent the rest of the evening together watching movies.
Every great party needs cake!
