A visionary in identifying and creating acquisition and engagement opportunities that reach targeted groups and provides messaging that compels people to move the mission forward. This marketing professional will assist in creating a global marketing plan that represents COTN’s holistic ministry objectives, and lead in the full execution of all initiatives. A creative thinker with strong appeal-writing skills, this incumbent will build successful marketing campaigns, from their inception through to post-event ROI analysis.
  • Create a 3-5 year global marketing strategy for Children of the Nations (COTN), leveraging online/print advertising, our website, email lists, social media, PR, events, and direct mail. Developing and implementing strategic short- and long-term marketing campaigns, communications strategies, and social media campaigns.
  • Work in collaborate with program heads and area directors to produce tools that support area needs by creating, implementing and overseeing the execution of marketing materials that meet set goals in those areas (Sponsorship, Resources, Venture, Philanthropy)
  • Manage Marketing staff, volunteers, freelancers, consultants, and local interns, (including planning for, creating proposals for, recruiting/mobilizing, and evaluating annually).
  • Develop 4 National Campaigns that message the COTN story and drive giving.
  • Choose and compose appeals that tell the story in a way to engage and move partners.
  • Collaborate with Philanthropy to develop strategies of marketing segmentation, donor demographics, partner analysis and ROI.
  • Develop, set standards for, and maintain the organization Corporate Identity (brand).
  • Develop annual marketing goals and strategy. Develop and implement strategic goals for individual Marketing Department staff.
  • Collaborate with the Philanthropy and International teams to:
  • Help maximize opportunities and provide marketing materials that will help launch initiatives.
  • Support all field reps (Community Reps and Philanthropy Advisors) by equipping them with team defined tools, segmented by giving levels, demographic or area, to share compelling information that will mobilize resources to support ministry projects and programs.
  • Address new funding strategies for all country projects.
Skills and Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communication, Business Development or other related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of Marketing experience
