Most Needed

With so many needs to meet, it can be difficult to decide where your contribution will do the most good. A general donation to Children of the Nations allows us to use those funds where they are most needed, be it building a school, providing medical care, or purchasing food. Your gift will be greatly appreciated and will directly impact a child's life.

Our Children's Homes provide orphaned children the protection, security, and nurturing environment they need. Construction of Phase I of our Uganda Children's Village is complete. Phase II includes furnishing the homes, readying them for our children to move in. Your special gift will provide for a bed, a dresser, a bookcase, or a similar piece of furniture made by local craftsmen.

For much of the developing world, the average wage for employment is unimaginable by American standards—about one dollar per day! But this meager salary is an incredible blessing to our in-country support staff (cooks, drivers, guards, etc.) who lovingly serve children and make it possible for us to do ministry. Your gift will provide for a month’s salary for one of our in-country support staff.

Transportation for our children and staff is desperately needed! Reliable vehicles are invaluable! Your special gift will provide our children and staff with access to a host of benefits. Children from distant and remote villages will be able to come to school and our staff will have access to transport supplies for building projects, community development programs, and everyday needs such as fresh fish, bread, and fruits to supplement our children's nutrition.

As our pastors spread the Word of God to outlying and remote villages, there is a need to raise up lay pastors within these communities to continue the good works that were started there. Your gift will provide one month's salary for a lay pastor who is doing just this. This is a gift that keeps on giving—giving life and light where there was none.

A little over a decade ago, when Children of the Nations first began ministry, many of the villages we minister to had never produced a high school graduate. Today, over a dozen students are enrolled in our University Student Program, preparing for careers in medicine, law, journalism, and seminary. Many more remain on waiting lists pending available funding. Your contribution will help them achieve their dreams.

Through your support, Children of the Nations operates numerous feeding centers in Africa and the Caribbean, ministering to thousands of children daily. These feeding centers provide a daily nutritious meal to thousands of children in our care. For many children living in poverty, this is the only true meal they receive all day. Your gift of a day's food supply for one of our feeding centers will serve six hundred children and bring health and hope for a brighter future.

Every day children lose their parents, fight for food to survive, and battle treatable diseases, which all too often take their lives. Your gift will help rescue children in desperate circumstances, even before sponsors are found to help provide for their basic needs. You can provide for the expenses associated with bringing a child into our care (food, clothing, medical care, social service fees, etc.) and ensure the child will see another day.
