Mark W. Costa

Senior Director of National Marketing and Community Development

As Senior Director of National Marketing and Community Development, Mark oversees all elements of internal and external marketing communications, community media relations, and strategic event planning for Children of the Nations.

During his celebrated career, Mark has held senior management positions within the nonprofit, tourism, and hospitality sectors. He has worked for such industry giants as Dallas-based ClubCorp of America, Royal Caribbean International/Celebrity Cruises, and American Classic Voyages. Most recently he served as chief marketing officer for the Gateway organization, including Gateway Christian Schools and Gateway Fellowship in Poulsbo, Washington.  
 
Aside from his professional achievements, Mark has received distinguished recognition for outstanding community service in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors from the United States Congress, California State Senate, California State Assembly, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors and the City of Poulsbo, Washington. Mark presently serves as the Director of Marketing for the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island and has served as the Chairman of the Board for the Corona Public Library Board of Trustees and the Corona Chamber of Commerce as well as President of the Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce. 
 
Mark resides on Bainbridge Island along with his wife of 30 years and their college-age son.
